Swimming Pool Wizard

Applies to: Plus Pro Architect

The Swimming Pool Wizard is an easy way to add a pre-built swimming pool to your landscape design. Each swimming pool added using the wizard includes the pool, pool decking, pool accessories, and more. Some of the pre-built swimming pool designs also include spas.

Note: The Swimming Pool Wizard is a great way to get ideas for swimming pool designs and to understand how the Swimming Pool tool works. However, you will probably find it easier to design your own custom swimming pools from the ground up. For information, see Adding a Swimming Pool.

To add a swimming pool using the wizard:

1.   From the Tools menu, click Swimming Pool Wizard.

2.   Click Next.

3.   Click the picture of the default swimming pool, select the pool you would like to use, and then click Next.

4.   Click Finish to add the swimming pool to your landscape design.

After completing the Swimming Pool Wizard, Realtime Landscaping will switch to the Plan view and place your new swimming pool at the center of your design. You can now move the swimming pool design to the desired position and rotate it into the ideal orientation. See Moving Objects and Rotating Objects for details.

The swimming pool and other objects added by the wizard will be grouped by default, making it easy to move the entire group at once. However, in order to edit the swimming pool, you will first need to ungroup it by clicking the Ungroup button that appears to the right of the screen when the pool is selected. For more details, see Grouping and Ungrouping Objects.

Tips:

To create your own swimming pool instead of using the wizard, use the Swimming Pool tool.

Using the Swimming Pool Wizard will not delete any existing pools in your landscape design; your design can have as many swimming pool objects as needed.
