Accent Wizard

The Accent Wizard is used to add pre-built designs of accent strips and accent shapes. It is a great way to get new ideas for designs, or to see the capabilities of the accent tools.

To add an accent using the Accent Wizard:

1.   From the Tools menu, click Accent Wizard.

2.   Click Next.

3.   Click the picture of the default accent design, select the design you would like to use, and then click Next.

4.   Click Finish to add the accent to your landscape design.

After completing the Accent Wizard, Realtime Landscaping will switch to the Plan view and place your new accent in the center of your design. You can now move the accent into the desired position and rotate it into the ideal orientation. See Moving Objects and Rotating Objects for details.

The accent shapes and strips that compose the design will be grouped by default, making it easy to move the entire accent design at once. However, in order to edit the individual accent pieces, you will first need to ungroup it by clicking the Ungroup button that appears to the right of the screen when the accent design is selected. For more details, see Grouping and Ungrouping Objects.

The following accent was added using the Accent Wizard.

Tips:

Using the Accent Wizard will not delete any existing accents in your landscape design; your design can have as many accents as needed.

You can also create your own accent designs using Accent Strips and Shapes. For details, see: Adding an Accent Strip and Adding an Accent Shape.
