Adding a Pool Light

Pool lights can be placed in and around swimming pools and spas to enhance your pool design during the evening. Pool lights can be configured to automatically illuminate at night.

Pool lights and Landscape lights are very similar, and can be used interchangeably when needed.

To add a pool light:

1. From the Swimming Pool tab, click Add Pool Light.
2. Click the picture of the default pool light that appears to the right of the screen, and then select the light you would like to use.
3. Click to place the pool light.

The pool design shown below uses a variety of pool and landscape lights.

Tips:

• Pool lights will turn on automatically based on their On time and the current time of day. To set the time of day, see Environment Settings.
• Pool lights share many of the same properties as landscape lights. For details, see Adding a Landscape Light.
• When the light is illuminated, the color of the glass is determined exclusively by the light color. Any changes to the glass color using the Edit Materials option will be ignored.
