Adding a Revision Cloud

Applies to: Plus Pro Architect

Landscape Design Software - Adding a Revision Cloud

Revision Clouds are useful for highlighting items that have been changed or require special attention.

There are two main styles, Normal and Reverse. Normal is typically used for additions or modifications, while Reverse is useful for items that have been removed or deleted.

When adding or editing a Revision Cloud, you only need to define the overall shape. The arcs are added automatically.

To add a revision cloud to the Plan view:

  1. Click the Plan tab to switch to the Plan view.
  2. From the Plan Detail tab, click Add Revision Cloud.
  3. Draw the cloud by clicking the left mouse button to add points. (These points define the overall shape; the arcs are added automatically.) Press the Backspace key to remove the last point added, and press the Esc key to cancel.
  4. To finish drawing the cloud, place the last point on top of the first point. Or, right-click to place the last point.

Tips:

  • If the Revision Cloud is closed, then it will be filled by default. To show just the cloud’s outline, set Transparency to 100.
  • All plan detail objects can only be added and viewed in the Plan view, unlike other objects that are compatible with all views. See Adding Plan Detail for more information.
  • Drop shadows are enabled by default. They can be disabled using Advanced Options Properties.
