Shape Properties

Shape
Closed	Connect the last point to the first, forming a closed shape.
Edit points	Enable or disable point editing mode, which will allow you to modify the shape. See Editing Points for details.
Shape options	Save the current shape or load a new one. For more details, see Saving and Loading Shapes.

Information
Area	Surface area of the shape in square feet or meters, assuming a flat 2D surface. The area is only shown when the Closed property is checked.
Perimeter	Total distance around the shape in feet or meters.
