Panel fences are similar to regular fences, but they support a wide range of metal styles and complex patterns. For example, if you need to place a wrought iron or chain link fence, the panel fence tool could be used. For more standard wooden or vinyl fences, the regular fence tool may be used.
To add a fence:
1. From the Building tab, click Add Panel Fence.
2. Draw the outline of the panel fence by clicking the left mouse button to add points. Press the Backspace key to remove the last point added, and press the Esc key to cancel. If you would like to input the distance and angle manually, place at least one point and then press Enter.
3. To finish drawing the panel fence, right-click to place the last point.
Tips:
•Using the grid snap feature can make adding an accurate panel fence very easy. See Snap Settings for more details.
•Once your panel fence is added, gates can be placed where necessary. See Adding a Panel Fence Gate for more information.
