Importing from Previous Versions of Realtime Landscaping

Not all versions of Realtime Landscaping are compatible with each other. The following shows which files can be imported by which versions:

  • Realtime Landscaping Plus can import design files from Realtime Landscaping Plus 2016 or later.
  • Realtime Landscaping Pro can import design files from Realtime Landscaping Plus or Pro 2016 or later.
  • Realtime Landscaping Architect can import design files from Realtime Landscaping Plus, Pro, or Architect 2016 or later.
  • Realtime Landscaping Photo can import design files from Realtime Landscaping Photo 2016 or later.

To import a file created using a previous version of Realtime Landscaping:

  1. Click File and Open.

  2. Set Files of type to the desired product.

  3. Navigate to the landscape you want to import and click the Open button.

Important: Files saved with the latest version of Realtime Landscaping cannot be opened in earlier versions, so be sure to save any changes to a new file.

Note: Plus cannot import design files from Pro. Likewise, Pro cannot import design files from Architect.
