Realtime Landscaping includes a compass that can be rotated to indicate the north direction. The north direction determines the position of the sun, which affects the angle of shadows in the Perspective view. The north direction also determines the relative directions of survey bearings when using the Lot Boundary object.
To change the compass direction:
1. Click the compass to select it.
2. Drag the green dot to rotate the compass. Alternately, set the desired orientation using the Angle setting on the right side of the screen.
