Extrusion Properties

Options

 

Elevation

Distance from the ground to the bottom of the object.

Height

Height of the extrusion.

Taper

Size of the extrusion’s top.  A value of 0 will cause the top of the extrusion to be the same size as the bottom.

Smooth

Smooth the extrusion sides. Uncheck this option for a faceted look.

Add caps

Add caps to the top and bottom of the extrusion. Caps can only be added if the extrusion is a closed shape.

Closed

Connect the last point to the first, forming a closed shape.

Edit points

Enable or disable point editing mode, which will allow you to modify the shape. See Editing Points for details.

Shape options

Save the current shape or load a new one. For more details, see Saving and Loading Shapes.

 

Information

 

Triangles

Total number of triangles used to compose the extrusion. When creating many complex extrusions, it is best to keep the number of triangles as low as possible on slower computers.
