Plant Fill Properties

Options

Elevation

Distance from the ground to the bottom of the plant.

Max plants

Total number of plants that are added to the plant fill. The number of plants added to the plant fill may be less than the maximum amount depending on the size of the plant fill.

Min spacing

Minimum distance between each plant. This distance is based on the center of each plant, not the size.

Random seed

Plants are added to the fill area at random positions. By changing the random seed, you can change the placement pattern.

Total plants

Total number of plants that have been added to the plant fill. The total amount of plants may be less than the Max plants property if the plant fill is too small to support the maximum number.

Space evenly

Place the plants in precise rows and columns instead of randomly.

Offset alternate rows

Offset every other row by the spacing distance, making a diamond pattern.

Line style

Appearance of the plant fill outline.

Explode

Separate all plants in the plant fill into separate objects, effectively replacing the plant fill with a selection of individual plants.
