Adding a Road Decal

Applies to: Plus Pro Architect

The Road Decal object is used to add flat detail to road surfaces, such as painted symbols, drains, manhole covers, and more. The Road Decal object is very similar to the Overlay object.

To add a road decal:

1. From the Road tab, click Add Road Decal.

2. Click the picture of the default road decal that appears to the right of the screen, and then select the decal you would like to use.

3. Click to place the road decal.

In the design below, Road Decals were used for the arrows and handicapped parking space.

Importing Custom Road Decals

Custom road decals can be imported from images taken with a digital camera or downloaded online. To import custom road decals or other image-based objects, use the Picture Import Wizard.

Tips:

• Road Decals will only display over roads that were added using the Road tool, and will not display over roads added using the Road Accessory tool.

• Road Decals are compatible with sloping and slanted roadways.
