Adding a Guardrail

The Guardrail object is used to create a protective rail that is found on many busy or dangerous roads.

To add a guardrail:

1. From the Road tab, click Add Guardrail.

2. Draw the guardrail by clicking the left mouse button to add points. Press the Backspace key to remove the last point added, or press the Esc key to cancel. If you would like to input the distance and angle manually, place at least one point and then press Enter.

3. To finish drawing the guardrail, right-click to place the last point. The guardrail will be constructed to the left of the line that was drawn. Click Switch sides to reverse it.

In the picture below, a guardrail is used to line a ridge that borders a lake.
