Maximum vertical distance between steps. |
Run |
Length of each step. |
Elevation |
Distance from the ground to the bottom of the stairs. |
Auto-calculate total rise |
Automatically add steps until they reach the ground. |
Total rise |
Distance from the top step to the bottom step. |
Closed |
Connect the last point to the first, forming a closed shape. |
Switch sides |
Reverse which direction the steps run. |
Edit points |
Enable or disable point editing mode, which will allow you to modify the shape. See Editing Points for details. |
Shape options |
Save the current shape or load a new one. For more details, see Saving and Loading Shapes. |
Tread |

Uncheck to use a different material for the treads. |
Type |
Style of tread to use. |
Tread height |
Height of each stair tread. |
Overhang |
How far the tread will overhang the step. |
Riser |

Calculate rise of each step based on the number of steps and tread run. |
