Decal Properties
For any properties not shown below, see Setting Object Properties.
| Material |
|
| Render order |
Determines which decal appears on top when multiple decals overlap. Decals with higher values are drawn above decals with lower values. |
| Color blend |
Controls how much of the decal's color is applied to the surface. Set this lower to make the decal more subtle, or to hide the color entirely. This is especially useful for decals that include a normal (bump) map (such as cracks): you can reduce the color contribution while keeping the surface detail effect. |
| Options |
|
| Elevation |
Distance from the ground to the center of the decal influence box. |
| Width |
Width of the decal influence box. |
| Length |
Length of the decal influence box. |
| Range |
Depth of the decal influence box along the decal's facing direction. |
| Rotate about X, Y, Z |
Rotation angles (in degrees) of the decal about each axis. |
| Icon size |
Size of the decal placement icon. This affects only the icon shown while designing - not the decal itself. |
| Flip horizontal |
Mirror the decal horizontally. |
| Flip vertical |
Mirror the decal vertically. |
| Scale evenly |
When one dimension is changed, adjust the other dimensions proportionally. Uncheck this option to resize width, length, and range independently. |
| Snap to surface |
Align the decal to the surface you place it on (such as walls, retaining walls, roofs, and other sloped or vertical surfaces). |
