Path Properties

Options |

Height |
Topology height, either positive for a mound or negative for a depression. |
Height taper |
How steep the transition is from the top of the mound or bottom of the depression to the surrounding terrain. Smaller values will produce more gradual mounds and depressions, while larger values will produce sharper mounds and depressions. Use 100 for a vertical edge. |
Edge style |
How sharp or smooth the transition is between the edge of the path and the underlying surface.
In Architect, this only affects the Perspective view. The transition is always sharp in the Plan view. |
Edit points |
Enable or disable point editing mode, which will allow you to modify the shape. See Editing Points for details. |
Shape options |
Save the current shape or load a new one. For more details, see Saving and Loading Shapes. |
Border |

Add border |
Add a customizable border around the perimeter. |
Custom appearance in each view (Architect) |
Use different settings for the Plan and Perspective views. |
Inset |
Distance from the edge of the path to the edge of the border. |
Width |
Border thickness. |
Edit Border |
Enable or disable border editing mode. When enabled, click an edge of the path to enable or disable the border at that location. |
3D Grass |

Add 3D grass |
Add 3D grass to the path (if supported by your video card). |
Blade width |
Width of each blade of grass. |
Grass height |
Height of the grass. |
Material Direction |
|
Enable custom material direction |
Enable options customizing how the material follows the path. |
Closed |
Connect the last point of the material direction path to the first. Typically, only walkways that complete a full circuit will use this option. |
Width |
Thickness of the material direction path. This should usually be set to the width of the path or slightly wider. |
Edit Direction |
Enable or disable point editing mode for the material direction path. See Editing Points for details. |
Information |

Area |
Surface area of the path in square feet or meters, assuming a flat 2D surface. |
Perimeter |
Total distance around the path in feet or meters. |
