Start delay |
Delay in seconds between the start of the movie or Realtime Walkthrough and when the animation starts moving or rotating. |
Preview animation |
Preview the animation without creating a movie or starting a Realtime Walkthrough. The animation preview will only play while the animation object is selected. |
Use path |
Move the animation along a path. Uncheck this option for a stationary animation that only rotates. |
Closed |
Connect the last point in the path to the first, forming a closed path. |
Snap to ground |
Constrain each point on the path to the ground. Uncheck this option if you want to adjust the path elevation at each point. |
Loop at end of path |
When the animation reaches the end of its path, reset to the beginning and repeat the animation. Uncheck this option if you want the animation to stop instead.
When previewing animations, this option has no effect. The animation will always reset to the beginning of the path. |
Elevation |
Animation height above the ground. If the animation has a path, then you can optionally set the elevation at each point. |
Hold time |
Amount of time (in seconds) that the animation will pause once it reaches the selected point. |
Speed |
Speed of the animation as it moves from the selected point to the next. The speed is shown as feet or meters per second, but you can also enter mph or kph if desired. For example, 25 mph or 40 kph. |
Decelerate smoothly when approaching |
Gradually slow to the target speed as the animation reaches the selected point. When unchecked, the animation will immediately switch to the new speed once the selected point is reached. |
Accelerate smoothly when leaving |
Gradually speed up to the target speed as it leaves the selected point. When unchecked, the animation will immediately switch to the new speed once the selected point is reached. |
