WARNING: PHOTOSENSITIVITY/EPILEPSY SEIZURES

A very small percentage of individuals may experience epileptic seizures or blackouts when exposed to patterns in time or space, such as flashing lights, bold, regular patterns, or regular moving patterns.  These conditions may trigger previously undetected epileptic symptoms or seizures in persons who have no prior medical history of seizures or epilepsy. In addition, if you or anyone in your family has an epileptic condition or has had seizures of any kind, consult your doctor before using the VR headset or 3D viewer.

IMMEDIATELY STOP USING THE VR HEADSET OR 3D VIEWER AND CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE RESUMING USE IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY DIZZINESS, ALTERED VISION, EYE OR MUSCLE TWITCHES, SEIZURES, DISORIENTATION, LOSS OF AWARENESS OR ANY INVOLUNTARY MOVEMENT OR CONVULSION.

DO NOT RESUME USE UNTIL YOU OBTAIN APPROVAL FROM YOUR DOCTOR.

Methods that may reduce the likelihood of a seizure include:

    Use in a well-lit area.

    Avoid prolonged use.

Do not use for more than an hour without taking a 15-minute break.

Avoid using when you are tired or need sleep.

Avoid using when under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Stop using the VR headset and/or 3D viewer immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms: lightheadedness, nausea, or a sensation similar to motion sickness, discomfort or pain in the eyes, ears, hands, arms, or any other parts of the body. If the condition persists, consult a doctor.

VR Headset Safety Notice

Read the health and safety warnings in the VR headset instruction manual before using. Carefully follow all instructions for setup and use.

The VR headset is not for use by children under the age of 12.

Review surroundings and clear obstacles before use. Take steps to prevent pets, children, or other obstacles from entering the area during use.

Some individuals may experience motion sickness, nausea, disorientation, blurred vision or other discomfort while viewing virtual reality content. If you experience any of these symptoms, stop using it immediately and remove the VR headset.

3D DEVICE USE NOTICE

Some individuals may experience discomfort (such as eye strain, eye fatigue or nausea) while viewing 3D images. If you experience such discomfort, you should immediately discontinue use of the 3D viewer until the discomfort subsides.

Idea Spectrum, Inc. recommends that all users take regular breaks while viewing 3D images. The length and frequency of necessary breaks may vary from person to person. Please take breaks that are long enough to allow any feelings of discomfort to subside. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

The vision of young children (especially those under six years old) is still under development. Idea Spectrum, Inc. recommends that you consult your doctor (such as a pediatrician or eye doctor) before allowing young children to view 3D images. Adults should supervise young children to ensure they follow the recommendations listed above.
