This guide will show you how to add a pool to your landscape design in Realtime Landscaping Pro.
To get started, click the Swimming Pool tab and click the Pool button.
To create the outline of your pool, Left click to place points. Right click to place the last point. Alternatively, you can Left click and place the last point on top of the first point to complete your pool outline.
Another option is to click Shape Options in the Object Properties panel, then click Load Shape and choose from a variety of pre-made pool shapes.
Make your selection and click OK.
Note that the selected swimming pool will have a white outline, with a green square at the upper right corner and a green circle to the left of it. To scale the swimming pool, Left click and drag above the green square. To rotate the swimming pool, Left click and drag above the green circle until it faces the desired direction.
Swimming pools can be set to have one consistent depth or to multiple different depths. To edit the depth, click Depth in the Object Properties panel and click the Edit Depth button.
Add points by clicking Insert Points, then Left click on the depth line to insert them. You can then select the different points to adjust the depth. To select multiple points, Left click and drag to highlight the points. Note that selected points will appear red in color, while unselected points will appear yellow. Another option to select multiple points is by holding down the Shift key on the keyboard, then Left clicking the points you wish to edit. You can use the slider or manually input the depth in the space provided.
To edit the dimensions of your swimming pool, use the following options:
To create an above ground pool, select Options in the Object Properties panel and edit the height. You can use the slider or manually input the height in the space provided.
You can easily customize the wall material, finish material, tile, and coping of your swimming pool. To change the finish material, click Finish Material found in the Object Properties panel. Next, click the material image seen below, and it will take you to a large selection of finish materials. Make your desired selection and click OK.
You have now successfully added a swimming pool to your landscape design.
