3D Design Wizard

The 3D Design Wizard is used to create 3D scenes using Realtime Landscaping Architect for placement over a photo. This can be a fast and effective way of helping clients visualize your landscape design ideas using photos of their property.

Note: The 3D Design Wizard is only available when using Realtime Landscaping Architect. It is not available when using Realtime Landscaping Plus or Pro.

To use the 3D Design Wizard:

1.   From the Tools menu, click 3D Design Wizard.

2.   Click Next.

3.   Click Run Realtime Landscaping Architect.

4.   Realtime Landscaping Architect will open. You can now create your design in 3D.

5.   When finished, close the program, or click File and Exit and Return to Realtime Landscaping Photo.

6.   Click Finish. The 3D design you created will be added over your photo. You can now adjust the design as needed to fit the size and perspective of your photo.

In the design below, the "Before" picture is the original photo. The fireplace, waterfall, spa, and other 3D objects were added using the 3D Design Wizard.

Tips:

Once a model or scene is created using the 3D Landscape Wizard, it can be rotated, tilted, and adjusted within Realtime Landscaping Photo.

To edit your 3D design, click the Edit button. This will start Realtime Landscaping Architect where you can edit the design in 3D. When you close the program, your updated 3D design will be re-imported.

Only some types of 3D objects are supported. Fill regions, terrain objects, plan detail, UltraRes plants, and non-3D objects will not appear in the imported scene.
