Add cap

Check this option to add a cap to the retaining wall.

Custom appearance in each view

Check this option if you want to give the object a custom material in the plan view. Uncheck this option if you want the object to have the same appearance in both views.

Plan

The properties in this group determine the object's appearance in the plan view.

Perspective

The properties in this group determine the object's appearance in the perspective and realtime walkthrough views.

Cap material

Material used for the cap. Click to select a different material.

Cap material options

Click to edit options that affect the appearance of the cap material.

Cap material size

Size of the cap material. Adjust to make the material appear larger or smaller.

Cap material angle

Rotation angle of the cap material.

Transparency

Transparency of the object in the plan view.

Line style

Click to edit the plan line style.

Wall material

Material used for the wall. Click to select a different material.

Wall material options

Click to edit the wall material's color and brightness.

Wall material size

Size of the wall material. Adjust to make the material appear larger or smaller.

Wall material angle

Rotation angle of the wall material.

Elevation

Height of the retaining wall off the ground.

Width

Width of the retaining wall.

Closed

Check this option for a closed retaining wall. Leave unchecked for an open retaining wall.

Auto wall height

Check this option to automatically calculate the height of the retaining wall based on the surrounding terrain. This is only available when using the Cut terrain option (described below).

Edit points

Click to edit the points that define the retaining wall's shape and height.

Shape options

Click to save the current shape or load a new one.

Height

When Edit points is selected, this adjusts the height of the retaining wall at the selected points. When Edit points is unselected, this adjusts the height of the entire retaining wall.

Cut terrain

When enabled, this option cuts the terrain on one side of the wall, in effect leveling the terrain on that side.

Reverse cut direction

When Cut terrain is enabled, this option reverses which side of the wall the terrain is cut.

Length

Calculated length of the retaining wall.
