Plant Fill Properties
The properties used to modify a plant fill are located to
the right of the screen when your plant fill is selected. Only some of these
properties can be adjusted right before adding the plant fill to your landscape,
but all of the properties can be adjusted after it has been added. Below is a
description of each available property in the order that they appear in the
software.
Plant Properties
Options |
Description |
Max plants |
The Max plants property determines
the total number of plants that are added to the plant fill. The number of
plants added to the plant fill may be less than the maximum amount
depending on the size of the plant fill. To change the maximum plant
number, move the Max plants slider or type a value in the text
field. |

automatic plant organization, move the Random seed slider or type a value
in the text field. |

number of plants that have been added to the plant fill. The total amount

The Space evenly property determines whether
the plants in the Plant Fill appear naturally placed or are arranged in

click the Line Style button and select the style you want to use
from the dialog that appears. |
Explode |

each plant in the Plant Fill into plant objects, effectively replacing the
Plant Fill with a selection of individual plants. To break the Plant Fill
into separate plants, click the Explode button. |
Edit points |
Click the Edit points button to
enable or disable point editing mode, which will allow you to modify the
plant fill’s shape. See Editing Points
for details. |

Click the Shape Options button to save the
shape of the plant fill, or to load an existing shape. For more details,
see Saving and Loading
Shapes. |
