Orbiting is the method of rotating your view while in the
3D Perspective view, and is very useful for viewing all sides of a 3D object
such as a house. For example, if your viewpoint was focused on the front yard of
a residence, but you need to view the back yard, you could use the Pan
and Orbit tools to move your view into place.
Mouse Shortcut: The fastest way to orbit your
view is to simply hold down the right mouse button while moving the mouse in the
direction you wish to rotate your view. This shortcut, along with the Pan
mouse shortcut, can make adjusting your view quick and easy.
Tips:
•
Orbiting is only available in the perspective view (not the Top-Down
view).
• The
mouse cursor automatically jumps to the other side of the screen when it reaches
the side of the viewport, making it easy to orbit large distances with a single
mouse click.
