Path Grader Properties

The properties used to modify a Path Grader object are located to the right of the screen when your path grader is selected. These properties can either be adjusted right before adding the path grader to your landscape or after it has been added. Below is a description of each available property in the order that they appear in the software.

Line style

The Line Style property determines the appearance of the path grader’s outline. To change the line style, click the Line Style button and select the style you wish to use from the dialog that appears.

Edit points

Click the Edit points button to enable or disable point editing mode, which will allow you to modify the path grader’s shape. See Editing Points for details.

The Height property determines how tall the path grader is at each point. To raise or lower the path grader, move the Height slider or enter a value in the text field.

Height taper

The Height taper property determines the smoothness of the transition between the top of the path grader and the base. Use a lower value for a more rounded edge, or a higher value for a steeper edge. Use 100 for a vertical edge.

Shape options

Click the Shape options button to save the shape of the path grader, or to load an existing shape. For more details, see Saving and Loading Shapes.

Edit Heights

The Edit Heights property is used to change the height of the Path Grader at any point. To edit the heights of a Path Grader, click the Edit Heights button.
