House Wizard
The House Wizard is a simple way to add a pre-built house
to your landscape design. Every house includes doors and windows, and many
houses also include decks, house lights, and driveways.
Important: The House Wizard is a great way to
get ideas for house designs and for understanding how the House tool
works. However, when actually designing your landscape you will probably find
it's easier to design the house from the ground up. For information, see Adding a House.

To add a house using the house wizard:
1.
Click Tools and House Wizard.
2.
Click the Next button.
3.
Click the picture of the default house, select the house you would like to use,
and then click the Next button.
4.
Click the Finish button to add the house to your landscape design.
After completing
the House Wizard, Realtime Landscaping Plus
will switch to the Top-Down view and place your new house in the center of your
design. You can now move the house into the desired position, and rotate it into
the ideal orientation. See Moving Objects and Rotating Objects for details.
The house and
other objects added by the wizard will be grouped by default, making it easy to
move the entire group at once. However, in order to edit the house you will
first need to ungroup it by clicking the Ungroup button that appears to
the right of the screen when the house is selected. For more details, see Grouping and Ungrouping Objects.
The picture below shows a landscape design with a house
that was initially added using the House Wizard and then customized.

Tips:
• Using
the House Wizard will not delete any existing houses in your landscape design;
your design can have as many house objects as needed.
• To
create a custom house design instead of using the wizard, use the Add House tool.
• If
you wish to add a pre-built house and fence all at once, use the Landscape Wizard.
•
Pre-built decks can be added separately using the Deck Wizard.
