Height Grid Properties
The properties used to modify a Height Grid object are
located to the right of the screen when your height grid is selected. These
properties can either be adjusted right before adding the height grid to your
landscape or after it has been added. Below is a description of each available
property in the order that they appear in the software.

Description |
Width |
The Width property determines the size of
the height grid from left to right. To adjust the height grid width, move
the Width slider or type a value in the text field. |
Length |
The Length property determines the size of
the height grid from top to bottom. To adjust the height grid length, move
the Length slider or type a value in the text field. |
Width points |
The Width points property determines
the amount of points added from left to right. To change the amount of
points, move the Width points slider or enter a value in the text field.
The minimum amount of width points is 5, and the maximum amount is
17. |
Length points |
The Length points property determines
the amount of points added from top to bottom. To change the amount of
points, move the Length points slider or enter a value in the text field.
The minimum amount of length points is 5, and the maximum amount is
17. |
Smooth |
The Smooth property determines whether the
transition from one point to another is gradual or sharp. To toggle the
height grid smoothness, click the Smooth checkbox. |
Line style |
The Line Style property determines the
appearance of the height grid’s outline. To change the line style, click
the Line Style button and select the style you wish to use from the
dialog that appears. |
Edit points |
Click the Edit points button to
enable or disable point editing mode, which will allow you to raise or
lower the points of the height grid. |
Height |
The Height property determines the distance
of the currently selected point from the ground. To change the height of a
point, click the Edit Points button, click the point you
wish to adjust, and then move the Height slider. |
