Beveling Corners

The corners of your objects can be beveled using the Bevel
Corners tool.
Before corners can be beveled, the Edit
Points button must be pressed to turn on point editing mode. See Editing Points for more information.
To bevel corners:
1.
Click the Bevel Corners tool that appears under the Edit
Points button, or press the H key on your keyboard.
2.
Click the point you wish to bevel to select it. If more than one point needs to
be beveled, hold the Shift key while clicking on additional points. Press
Edit, Select, and Select all to select all points in
the object.
3.
Click and hold the left mouse button on one of the points, and then move the
mouse to bevel each selected point. Alternately, press the Enter key to
bevel the points manually.
In the pictures below, a deck is shown before and after one
of its corners has been beveled using the steps above.

Tips:
•
Hexagonal and octagonal objects can be easily added to your landscape
designs using the Bevel Corners tool. To create a hexagon, create a triangular
shape and bevel all three of its points. To create an octagon, create a square
shape and bevel all four of its corners.
•
Object shapes can be saved and loaded, even if the shapes were created
using different objects. For details, see Saving and Loading Shapes.
