Adding a Rock

The Rock object is used to place 3D rocks of any shape and
size in your landscape designs. Rocks can be used to form spillways, landscape
accents, natural borders, and more.
To add a rock:
1.
Click the Add Rock button found near the top of the screen under
the Landscape tab.
2.
Click the picture of the default rock that appears to the right of the screen,
and then select the rock you would like to use.
3.
Click the picture of the default rock material, and then select the material you
would like to use.
4.
Click on your design where you want to place the landscape rock.
The picture below shows a landscape design with rocks used
to enhance an entry way.

Rotating and Scaling Rocks
Rocks can be rotated and scaled as necessary. For example,
the picture below shows the same rock sized and rotated differently. For more
information, see Scaling Objects and Rotating Objects.

Tips:
• If
you want to border a landscape feature with rocks, you may want to use the Rock Border object instead.
• It is
best to select the rock you want to use before changing its size.
• If
you need to fill an area with rocks, consider adding a Region instead, and using a rock material.
