3D Text Properties
The properties used to modify a 3D Text object are located
to the right of the screen when your text is selected. These properties can
either be adjusted right before adding the 3D text to your landscape or after it
has been added. Below is a description of each available property in the order
that they appear in the software.
Options |
Description |
Text |
The Text property determines what text will
be displayed. To change the text, click the small “…” button that
appears to the right of the Text property. |
Font |
Font determines the style of lettering that
the 3D text will use. Any TrueType font that is installed on your computer
can be used. |
Style |
Style determines whether the text style is
italic, bold, bold and italic, or regular. |
Alignment |
Alignment determines whether the text is
centered, aligned left, or aligned right. Note that text alignment is only
noticeable when there is more than one line of text. |
Height |
Height determines the size of each letter of
text. For example, if the Height is set to four feet, then a capital
letter will be approximately four feet from bottom to top. The height will
vary slightly based on the Font. |
Depth |
Depth determines the text thickness in feet
or meters. |
Angle |
Angle determines the rotation of the text in
degrees. |
Tilt angle |
Tilt angle determines the up/down
rotation of the text. |
Elevation |
Elevation determines the distance of the 3D
text from the ground. |
Color |
Color determines the text color. To change
the text color, click the small color swatch that displays the current
color. |
Show in Realtime Walkthrough |
The Show in Realtime Walkthrough option
determines whether the selected 3D Text object will appear during Realtime
Walkthroughs. |
