Editing Properties for Multiple Objects

A powerful feature of Realtime Landscaping Photo is its ability to edit multiple objects of the same type. For example, suppose you want to change multiple plants to the same flower. Instead of having to select and change each one individually, you can select all of them and make the change just once.

In the following examples, four zinnias have been changed to geraniums in a single step.

When you select multiple objects of the same type, any of the properties that are different will appear blank. When you change a blank property, all of the objects will be set to the new value.

All objects must be the same type in order for their properties can be edited at once. Only selected objects are affected.

Objects must be ungrouped before their individual properties can be edited, even if the objects are the same type.

When editing multiple objects in this fashion, clicking Undo will undo changes to all of the affected objects at once. For example, suppose you have ten plants selected and you change their picture property all at once using the above procedure. Clicking Undo would restore all ten plants to use their original pictures. See Undoing & Redoing changes for more information.
