Adding Edging

Edging adds a nice border around your flower beds, paths,
and other areas of your landscape. You can easily adjust the size and shape of
your edging. Realtime Landscaping Photo includes a large variety of edging
materials, including rock, stone, brick, and marble.
To add edging:
1.
Click Add Edging.
2.
Draw the edging’s outline by clicking to add points. Press Backspace to
remove the last point. Press Esc to cancel.
3.
Click the starting point to close the edging. Or, for edging that remains open
instead of closed, right-click at the last point.
Once you have added
your edging, you can easily adjust its shape. See Editing
Points for details.
Edging was used for
the flower bed in the following landscape design.

Controlling the Render Order
When working with overlapping objects, you can control
which ones are rendered first. For example, you can use this to ensure your
edging appears on top of the lawn. See Controlling the Render Order for
details.
Tips:
• For
more control over the shape of your edging, you can easily add more points. See
Inserting & Deleting Points for
more information.
• You
can also add retaining walls using the Retaining Wall object.
