Window Properties
The properties used to modify a window are located to the
right of the screen when your window is selected. These window properties can
either be adjusted right before adding the window to a house or after it has
been added. Below is a description of each available window property in the
order that they appear in the software:
Options |
Description |
Symbol |
The Symbol property determines the symbol
that represents the window in the Plan view. To change the symbol, click
the image of the current symbol. |
Model |
The Model property determines the type of
window. To change the window model, click the picture that shows the
current window. |
Material options |
The appearance of the window can be modified by
clicking the small button that appears to the right of the window
image. |
Width |
The Width property determines the size of
the window from left to right. To adjust the window width, move the Width
slider or type a value in the text field. |
Height |
The Height property determines how tall the
window is. To adjust the window height, move the Height slider or type a
value in the text field. |
Elevation |
The Elevation property determines the
distance of the window from the ground. To change the elevation, move the
Elevation slider or type a value in the text field. |
Enable enhanced surface detail |
The Enable enhanced surface detail property
determines whether or not the window will have increased detail when
viewed up close. |
Flip model horizontal |
To invert the window model from left to right,
click on the Flip model horizontal checkbox. Note that this only affects
the model shown in the Perspective view. |
