Using Automatic Dimensions
It is important to create accurately sized objects when
creating a realistic landscape design. To assist you in creating shapes the
exact size needed, Automatic Dimensions can be enabled. When Automatic
Dimensions are enabled, the distance between points will be shown whenever you
add or edit the points of an object.
To toggle automatic dimensions on or off: Select Settings and Show Auto Dimensions, or press Ctrl + D on
your keyboard.
The picture below shows an example of a bay window being
edited. Notice how Automatic Dimensions are enabled and the distances between
points are displayed.

Tips:
• When
Automatic Dimensions are enabled, they will only appear while editing points. If
you wish to add persistent dimensions to your design, see Adding a Linear Dimension.
