Slope Properties
The properties used to modify a Slope object are located to
the right of the screen when your slope is selected. These properties can either
be adjusted right before adding the slope to your landscape or after it has been
added. Below is a description of each available property in the order that they
appear in the software.
Options |
Description |
Line style |
The Line Style property determines the
appearance of the slope’s outline. To change the line style, click the
Line Style button and select the style you wish to use from the
dialog that appears. |
Edit points |
Click the Edit points button to
enable or disable point editing mode, which will allow you to modify the
slope’s shape. See Editing Points for
details. |
Rise |
The Rise property determines the height of
the slope. To change the slope height, move the Rise slider or enter a
value in the text field. If point editing mode is enabled and a point is
selected, then changing the rise will affect only the selected
point. |
Run |
The Run property determines the length of
the slope. To change the slope length, move the Run slider or enter a
value in the text field. If point editing mode is enabled and a point is
selected, then changing the run will affect only the selected
point. |
Angle |
The Angle property displays the calculated
incline of the slope in degrees. If point editing mode is enabled and a
point is selected, then the angle displayed will be the angle of the slope
at the selected point. |
Grade |
The Grade property displays the calculated
incline of the slope as a percentage of the run. If point editing mode is
enabled and a point is selected, then the grade displayed will be the
angle of the slope at the selected point. |
