Pool Wall Properties
The properties used to modify a pool wall are located to
the right of the screen when your wall is selected. Only some of these
properties can be adjusted right before adding the pool wall to your landscape,
but all of the properties can be adjusted after it has been added. Below is a
description of each available property in the order that they appear in the
software.

Wall Material |
The Wall Material property determines what
type of wall surface the pool wall will use. To change the material, click
the small image that displays the current material. |
Material options |
The appearance of the pool wall can be modified by
clicking the small button that appears to the right of the material
image. |
Size |
The Size property determines the scale of
the wall material. |
Angle |
The Angle property determines the rotation
angle of the wall material. To change the material angle, move the
Angle slider or type a value in the text field. |
Offset X |
The Offset X property determines the wall
material’s left and right orientation. To shift the material left or
right, move the Offset X slider or enter a value in the text
field. |
Offset Y |
The Offset Y property determines the wall
material’s forward and backward orientation. To shift the material forward
or backward, move the Offset Y slider or enter a value in the text
field. |
Shininess |
The Shininess property determines how glossy
the material will appear. To change the appearance of the material, click
the Shininess drop-down menu and select from the following options:
Default, Off, Low, Medium, or High. The shininess property only affects
the appearance of the material while in the 3D view. |
Enable enhanced surface detail |
The Enable enhanced surface detail property
determines whether or not the wall will have increased detail when viewed
up close. |

Elevation |
The Elevation property determines the
distance of the pool wall from the ground. To change the elevation, move
the Elevation slider or type a value in the text field. |
Width |
The Width property determines the thickness
of the pool wall. To change the pool wall thickness, move the Width slider
or enter a value in the text field. |
Closed |
The Closed property determines whether the
pool wall’s shape is open or closed. To change the state of the pool
wall’s shape, click the Closed checkbox. |
Switch sides |
The Switch sides property determines which
side of then line the pool wall is projected from. To switch the pool
wall’s side, click the Switch sides checkbox. |
Edit points |
Click the Edit points button to
enable or disable point editing mode, which will allow you to modify the
pool wall’s shape. See Editing Points for
details. |
Shape options |
Click the Shape Options button to save the
shape of the pool wall, or to load an existing shape. For more details,
see Saving and Loading
Shapes. |
Height |
The Height property determines how tall the
entire pool wall is. Alternately, if one or more points of the wall are
selected, the Height slider can be moved to raise or lower individual
points. |
Coping |
Description |
Custom appearance in each view |
The Custom appearance in
each view option determines whether the pool wall’s coping
will appear differently in the Plan view than in the Perspective view. If
this option is unchecked, the pool wall’s coping will appear the same in
both views. |
Plan |
The Plan tab contains properties that affect
the appearance of the pool wall’s coping in the Plan view. This tab will
not be available unless the Custom appearance in each view option
is checked. |
Perspective |
The Perspective tab contains properties that
affect the appearance of the pool wall’s coping in the Perspective view.
This tab will not be available unless the Custom appearance
in each view option is checked. |
Material |
The Material property determines what type
of surface the pool wall’s coping will use. To change the material, click
the small image that displays the current material. |

Size |

angle of the coping material. To change the material angle, move the

The Offset Y property determines the coping
material’s forward and backward orientation. To shift the material forward
or backward, move the Offset Y slider or enter a value in the text
field. |
Shininess |
The Shininess property determines how glossy
the material will appear. To change the appearance of the material, click
the Shininess drop-down menu and select from the following options:
Default, Off, Low, Medium, or High. The shininess property only affects
the appearance of the material while in the 3D view. |
Enable enhanced surface detail |
The Enable enhanced surface detail property
determines whether or not the coping will have increased detail when
viewed up close. |
Transparency |
The Transparency property determines the
opacity of the coping in the Plan view. To change the opacity, move the
Transparency slider or type a value in the text field. Note that the
Transparency property is only available when the Custom appearance in
each view option is checked. |
Coping type |
The Coping type property determines which
style of coping is placed on the top of the pool wall. To change the style
of coping, click the Coping type drop-down menu and select the style you
would like to use. |
Height |
The Height property determines how tall the
coping is. To change the coping height, move the Height slider or type a
value in the text field. |
Overhang |
The Overhang property determines how far the
coping extends from the pool wall. To adjust the amount of extension, move
the Overhang slider or type a value in the text field. |
Edit Coping |
Click the Edit coping button to enable or
disable coping editing mode, which will allow you to modify the visibility
of coping at each edge of the pool wall. When coping editing mode is
enabled, click the edges of your pool wall that you wish to toggle. Note
that the Edit coping property will be disabled if the Style
property is set to None or Seamless. |
Tile |
Description |
Add tile |
The Add Tile property determines whether or
not tile is added to the upper edge of the pool wall. To toggle the tile,
click the Add Tile checkbox. |
Material |
The Material property determines what type
of tile is used. To change the material, click the small image that
displays the current tile. |
Material options |
The appearance of the tile can be modified by
clicking the small button that appears to the right of the material
image. |
Angle |
The Angle property determines the rotation
angle of the tile material. To change the material angle, move the
Angle slider or type a value in the text field. |
Offset X |
The Offset X property determines the tile
material’s left and right orientation. To shift the material left or
right, move the Offset X slider or enter a value in the text
field. |
Offset Y |
The Offset Y property determines the tile
material’s forward and backward orientation. To shift the material forward
or backward, move the Offset Y slider or enter a value in the text
field. |
