Door Properties
The properties used to modify a door are located to the
right of the screen when your door is selected. These door properties can either
be adjusted right before adding the door to a house or after it has been added.
Below is a description of each available door property in the order that they
appear in the software:

Description |
Symbol |
The Symbol property determines the symbol
that represents the door in the Plan view. To change the symbol, click the
image of the current symbol. |
Model |
The Model property determines the type of
door. To change the door model, click the picture that shows the current
door. |
Material options |
The appearance of the door can be modified by
clicking the small button that appears to the right of the door
image. |
Width |
The Width property determines the size of
the door from left to right. To adjust the door’s width, move the Width
slider or type a value in the text field. |
Height |
The Height property determines how tall the
door is. To adjust the door’s height, move the Height slider or type a
value in the text field. |
Elevation |
The Elevation property determines the
distance of the door from the ground. To change the door’s elevation, move
the Elevation slider or type a value in the text field. |
Flip model horizontal |
To invert the door model from left to right, click
on the Flip model horizontal checkbox. Note that this
only affects the model shown in the Perspective view. |
Flip symbol horizontal |
To invert the door symbol from left to right, click
on the Flip symbol horizontal checkbox. Note that
this only affects the symbol shown in the Plan view. |
Flip symbol vertical |
To invert the door symbol from top to bottom, click
on the Flip symbol vertical checkbox. Note that this
only affects the symbol shown in the Plan view. |
Enable enhanced surface detail |
The Enable enhanced surface detail property
determines whether or not the door will have increased detail when viewed
up close. |
